Nashville to learn how to dance for the Music City Inaugural Charity Ball Thursday evening at the National Dance Club.

In a local version of ABC-TV's popular "Dancing with the Stars", more than 30 people will receive instruction at 8 p.m. this Thursday in the proper way to ballroom dance, including the Fox Trot, Waltz and even how to properly ask a lady to dance at such an event.

The Music City Inaugural Charity Ball is slated for the night of Jan. 20 at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel in Nashville. It will be the largest inaugural ball outside of Washington, D.C.

The news media is invited to the instruction and to conduct interviews of the 30 guinea pigs, who then will be the models for dance for the 1,000 people expected at the ball.

National Dance Studio is located in the Belle Media Galleria, 5133 Harding Road. Suite 12 is located in the back of the Galleria.
