It's 10 days to the Music City Inaugural Ball; Do you know where your tickets are? Get them quick!

Only 10 days remain until the historic Music City Inaugural Ball and your moment to shine amid the largest gathering of its kind outside of Washington, D.C.

The charity, non-partisan event -- with $100 tax deductible tickets -- will feature the best in entertainment from Ricky Skaggs to Dr. Bobby Jones, plenty of food, networking with prominent people, recognition of the military and the war on terror and dancing. Yes, I said dancing.

For your benefit, 30 hosts for the ball volunteered two hours of their time Thursday night at the National Dance studio in Belle Meade Galleria to learn how to dance for a ballroom event with formal dress.

And while there were plenty of laughs, a lot of serious and successful effort was put into preparation for the event. Above, Christina Kretchik (blue dress) with the Tennessee Health Care Campaign easily took to the dance floor and the steps to the Fox Trot and Waltz. She saw, she danced, she conquered.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.volunteernashville.com. Your ticket will be held for you at the Ball.
