ESPN's football entertainer Lee Corso still wouldn't give Vanderbilt the credit for amassing a super team and a rising program in comments after the 'Dores' fantastic victory last night over Auburn.

Corso credits LSU and Tennessee with Vandy's win. Those two teams played Auburn before last night. He refused to credit the Vandy players, including the incredible backup QB who saved the day. What heroics! Corso did throw a few scraps of Coach Johnson.
Earlier in the day, Corso injured and insulted the faithful of the City on a Hill by donning an Auburn helmet to predict who would win the game and a UT jersey to show his loyalties for football in Tennessee. His taunting of the crowd was in sharp contrast to the good nature of the fans of the Black and Gold throughout the Game Day broadcast.
Ultimately, after the game, all three ESPN talking heads on GameDay downplayed the win and what it meant to the SEC title race. Yes, Vandy has to play Florida and Georgia. But the 'Dores already have almost beaten Florida in Gainsville; this year the Gators have to come to Nashviile. And the 'Dores played the Bulldgos tough the last time they met. 'Bama last week sure made Georgia look beatable, humiliatingly so.
But all the gab from the Gameday people is all right. Vandy is atop the SEC East, and may damn well stay there for the rest of the regular season, even if with one loss.
The bandwagon is running. If the national neanderthals don't want to get on, that's all right. I need room to stretch my legs.
