Joe the Plumber becomes legend on SNL tonight

Joe the Plumber was made into legend moments ago on Saturday Night in a hilarious satire of yesterday's presidential debate at Hofstra University.

The actual Joe has been interviewed on CNN and found to be an unlicensed plumber.

But the one referred to on SNL was much more hilarious and was akin to Al Gore's celebrated lock box during the 2000 debates.

Comedian Darrell Hammond played McCain and said Joe he is three-and-a half-inches tall and sleeps under his bed in a cigar box. But he becomes as a big as a house when he gets mad, like the Incredible Hulk.

Obama then accused McCain's Joe as being imaginary, then apologized to him -- on the debate set.

McCain was taken to task for volatile cries at his rallies by participants, including one of "off with his head!"

McCain responded with: "Off with his head was made at a Renaissance rally."

Hilarious.
