"Congressman" Marsha Blackburn voted today against the bailout of Wall Street fatcats after telling The Tennessean she was yet to announce her intentions.
While that answer was strange for the usually shoot-straight-from-the-hip Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!, her "no" vote apparently was the result of a clarifying moment of conscience or a lot of angry phone calls this morning to her congressional office.
We'll never know, even though Blackburn was on a host of TV shows the past several days contending that a deal could be worked out by the end of the week.
So what are Blackburn's real beliefs on this legislation? The answer is representative of the congressperson she has been -- do as I say, not as I do.
