Vandy jumps to 13th in the nation with win

The Vanderbilt Commodores continue to set sail toward the nation's top 10 elite of major college football, beating Auburn last night and getting enough sportswriter votes today to jump to 13th in the nation.

At 5-0, the 'Dores are off to their best start since FDR was president. They certainly are the toast of Tennessee football, no matter da bum Lee Corso says.

With highly ranked opponents such as Florida and Georgia still on their schedule, the "Dores can break into the Top 10 and a BCS bowl appearance with their performance on the field.

For all you folks still not on the bandwagon, you're missing a helluva ride.
