Bush speaks, and the stock market craters

What kind of confidence do the American people have in President Bush, Secretary of Treasury Paulson and Congress to turn things around?

If the actual Dow Jones Industrial Average is any indication, the answer is zero or more accurately a negative.

When Bush started to speak a few moments ago at the White House, the Dow was down 83 points. After he finished, it was down 232 points. Now it is down more than 300 points. This trend has continued throughout the week when anyone in Washington speaks to the nation.

Like I wrote before, until Paulson is fired, and until bank and Wall Street executives are fired and fined, the American people will not trust government or financial advisers. And things in this nation will continue to get worse.

It's accountability, stupid!
