Ifill didn't tell debate commission about Obama book; she doesn't get it about conflict of interest

In an interview with the Associated Press, PBS' Gwen Ifill says she did not tell the Presidential Debate Commission about her "Age of Obama" book now geared to hit the stores on Inauguration Day 2009.

Ifill also fails to acknowledge her gross conflict of interest in profitting personally from the election of Obama. Instead, she dodges the obvious with the same kind of verbal moves worthy of a dirty politician.

The moderator for tomorrow's VP debate says that she will survive a day of negative blogging. She's right, because her buddies in the news media won't call her on it. This way, they can all still smile at one another and wink at dinner parties.

As I wrote earlier, if this was Rush Limbaugh in the same position, Ifill and the TV networks would be all over the story. The double-standard is obvious and sickening. And members of the news media are the less credible for it.

If you can stomach it, here is her AP interview: http://apnews.myway.com/article/20081001/D93HUHCO1.html
