Kurita appeal turned down; Dems deny voters

A state judge has turned state Sen. Rosalind Kurita's attempt to get the Democratic spot on the Nov. 4 state ballot, NewsChannel 5 just reported.

The decision leaves Kurita as a write-in candidate against Tim Barnes for her Senate seat.

The whole Kurita situation -- in which her primary victory by 15 votes was overturned by county Democratic leadership -- is a shocking display of deying the will of the people.

Democratic leaders in Tennessee led by Gov. Phil Bredesen continue to astound with their ineptitude and arrogance. Kurita deserves voter support Nov. 4.
