Don't forget about get together for former Tennessean employees; holiday cheer and healing

Don't forget about the gathering for former Tennessean employees a week from today.

I'm not organizing it. But I can send you the time and place to be there to offer support, particularly to the 22 souls from the newsroom who lost their jobs recently. I was asked by a non-newsroom employee laid off if she would be invited. I say yes, unless told otherwise.

I had more friends at the newspaper outside of the newsroom than in. They had great input on making the newspaper better. The people in power in the newsroom, however, did not care to listen.

So come one, come all. And let's laugh and heal.
