Compromise of $15 billion offered automakers

The people of this nation have apparently won the battle against an outrageous bailout request of the Big 3 automakers, as a compromise of $15 billion is being offered by the White House and Congress from existing environmental funds, reports FOX News.

Thank goodness. The automakers had raised their demand from $25 billion to $34 billion, without any guarantee that they wouldn't be back for more. If they are bailed out, other industries would get in line.

Hopefully, this compromise will stop the bailout craze and allow business to live as the people of this nation do -- on a budget, and filing for bankruptcy if necessary.
