Obama already extraordinary leader, but he now is telling us universal health care not possible

Never in history has this nation had a leader before he even took the oath of office.

But Sen. Barack Obama's pre-presidency is more effective than the official one being conducted by the man with the office he won Nov. 4.

Yet we are learning and our new president is trying to tell us that some of things that need to be done nationally may not be realized very soon. That is not a criticism of him. If is just a reaffirmation that we are going to need to give him time and prayer to fix a nation headed the wrong way for 25 years.

Today he backed away from saying if and when he'd remove the Bush tax cuts to fund his health care plan. Obama does not now how bad the economy will be next year. So he must rightly wait.

And so should we.
